ValuTrack Buys New Facility for Future “Green” HQ Site

ValuTrack Corporation has recently acquired a piece of property in Medway, MA which will become the future site for its environmentally “Green” corporate headquarters. The property will be renovated and expanded with the latest technologies in sustainable “Green” construction practices in mind.

The need for expansion has come from ValuTrack’s impressive rate of growth in 2009, as Field Sales and Office Management personnel were added to meet customer demand to do “more with less” in a down economy by automating and enhancing their supply chain efforts with advanced Auto-ID and Label Management solutions. With regional offices from New England to Florida established, ValuTrack will begin to grow an Inside Sales force presence in the new headquarters facility.

The new facility will feature sustainable green technology such as Geothermal Heating and Cooling and be built to support a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) for installation in the future. The future VAWT will produce all of the needed electricity during the day while pushing surplus electricity back to the grid during non-work hours. The geothermal, a renewable and consistent source of heat, will be used to control the HVAC requirements. The geothermal heat pump system will capture heat from the soil during the winter while harnessing the cooler properties of the ground during the summer months. The end result is a solution that eliminates the use of fossil fuels and creation of carbon emissions.
